Celebrate The Small Things - For Nov. 20

This week, I am grateful for the little progress I have made on my picture book. Here is a page I added color to. I still have to outline it in pen and choose a background color. This photo didn't come out too good. The back ground is actually white, but it has a yellowy tinge here.

I also posted a bunch of fashion illustration drawings on Instagram (Kimberob4) in hopes of getting noticed by some fashion magazines. My selection is meager, but I'm planning on creating a bigger and better portfolio.

I bought a turkey this week and have learned a lot about how to cook it. This will be my first time cooking a turkey for Thanksgiving. I thought it was going to be like cooking a chicken, but have come to learn that it will be quite an undertaking. *sigh* I hope it comes out good...or at least edible.

What are you celebrating?

  1. The illustrations look cute! And good luck with the turkey. Just remember that they always take longer to cook than you think they will....
